A brick truck that exploded Thursday in western Arkansas has been contained and the driver has been taken into custody, the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives said.
The explosion occurred about 3:20 p.m. near a quarry near the town of Covington in the western part of the state.
It sent plumes of white smoke into the air, but there were no injuries, according to a release from ATF.
The truck’s driver was taken to a hospital and is expected to survive, ATF said.
There was no immediate word on a possible motive for the blast.
